This is the 13th highest average salary per county earned by coaches at Indiana post-secondary schools during 2022.

Madison County is home to just one post-secondary school which paid coaches during 2022.

Male coaches of men's teams received $45,620 on average in Madison County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $35,262.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
