Delivery of the Mayor’s Ball Education Grants continued! Mayor Thomas J. Broderick, Jr. visited Anderson educators who were selected as recipients to congratulate them on their visions that drew the approval of the selection committee. Impressive projects included garden towers, Lego© projects, theatrical performances, and more. Other educators proposed to use the grant monies to purchase engaging items such as new cameras, smart boards, reading programs, and many other educational tools.

Visiting the schools and seeing the teachers in action was impressive. Anderson teachers have lessons that reflected high standards. Students were amazing, kind, and engaged. Administration was inviting and supportive, and the buildings reflected an academic and supportive climate.  Anderson educational professionals are exceptional.  

“Delivering grants which support educators in our community is one of the best and most rewarding tasks of the year for me,” commented Mayor Broderick.
