Anderson Scores Key HCAC Win against Hanover
The Anderson University men's basketball team (5-5, 3-0) scored a key Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) win by topping Hanover College (6-3, 3-1) by a score of 73-64 on Saturday in O.C. Lewis Gymnasium.
Anderson and Manchester University (5-4, 4-0) currently remain as the only two teams which are undefeated in conference play.
COACH CARTER COLLINS'S COMMENTS
I'm really happy with our effort against a high-quality Hanover team. I thought the guys played hard and executed the game plan relatively well, and a combination of those two things will put us right in the thick of most of the games we play. We've set ourselves up in a pretty decent spot heading into Christmas break, but it's still pretty early in the season, and we need to continue to improve in order to get to where we want to be by the end.
