Anderson University women's swimming and diving senior Halle Strege was tabbed as the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Diver of the Week, which was announced by the conference on Monday.
Strege was selected as the HCAC Diver of the Week for the eighth time in her career.
Franklin College (5-1, 4-0) topped Anderson (1-3, 1-2) by a score of 152-53 during Saturday's HCAC dual in the Bennett Natatorium.
Strege locked up first place in the 11-dive 1-meter diving event with a score of 395.60 points and an average of 35.96 points per dive. The senior from McCordsville hit the 11-Dive 1-Meter Diving NCAA 'B' Qualifying Standard of 395 points. Strege qualifies for the NCAA Diving Regional if achieves a score of at least 395 a second time this season.
Anderson takes on Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (1-4, 0-0) in an HCAC dual on Friday at 6 p.m. in Bennett Natatorium.
