Gorloks Earn Win against Ravens

Webster University (5-1) earned a 96-66 victory against the Anderson University women's basketball team (3-5) on Sunday in St. Louis.

HOW IT HAPPENED

•    Webster jumped out to a 32-14 lead after the first quarter. The Gorloks outscored the Ravens 17-0 off turnovers in the first quarter.

•    Webster drained 40-of-73 (54.8 percent) shots from the field while Anderson made 23-of-63 (36.5 percent) attempts from the floor.

•    The Gorloks hit 3-of-14 (21.4 percent) shots from 3-point range while the Ravens made 6-of-31 (19.4 percent) attempts from behind the arc.

•    Webster held a 25-19 advantage in points off turnovers.

•    The Gorloks outrebounded the Ravens 49-34.

•    Webster knocked down 13-of-16 (81.3 percent) shots from the free-throw line while Anderson hit 14-of-27 (51.9 percent) attempts from the charity stripe.
