Elwood Resident, Rita Reynolds visited the Mayor's Office to express her heartfelt thanks to members of the Elwood Fire Department. Rita recently experienced a medical emergency. The Elwood Fire Department quickly responded, and Firefighter Quinton Jackson performed life-saving measures on Rita. Much like Rita, we are thankful for the members of the Elwood Fire Department along with the Elwood Police Department who are always there for our community and willing to jump into action when the call comes in. Mayor Jones was humbled to witness this heartfelt reunion between a citizen and the firefighter who saved her life!
