Census Bureau: More women than men in Lapel in 2020

Of the 2,379 people living in Lapel in 2020, 50.1 percent (1,191) were women and 49.9 percent (1,188) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Anderson Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 19. In the 65 and over age range, there were 163 females and 164 males.
