City of Elwood recently issued the following announcement.
Is too much of Uptown Elwood devoted to parking? Let us know in the comments by replying "Yes" if you believe Uptown Elwood has too much parking or replying "No" if you believe Elwood has sufficient and/or too little parking.
This map shows the total amount of surface parking in Uptown Elwood. There are 18.7 acres of total surface parking spaces available, roughly 14.25 football fields' worth of available space, and 23.7% of the Uptown district. 3,031 cars can be parked in parking lots alone, excluding on-street spaces.
