Carmel Clay Public Library recently issued the following announcement.
Decorate a vinyl sticker to describe what you’re thankful for. These kits for grades 6–12 are available while supplies last at the West Branch and the Merchants' Square Main Library.
Drop by the Merchants’ Square Main Library or the Joyce Winner West Branch to grab one of these Take-and-Make kits designed especially for teens in grades 6–12. Each kit contains two stickers. “I’m thankful for . . .” is yours to keep while “I’m thankful to my library for . . .” can be returned to the Merchants' Square Main Library for one hour of community service. Post your finished creations on social media with the hashtag #ccplcreates. Completed library stickers will help decorate the Teens area in the Merchants’ Square Main Library.
To earn volunteer hours, you must be a member of the library's Teen Volunteer Corps before you return your sticker to the library. Stickers will be accepted through November 30. Limit: one service hour per person. If you are not yet a member of the Teen Volunteer Corps, applications are available online for teens in grades 6–12.
