Anderson Community Schools to provide $50 incentive for students fully vaccinated against COVID-19

50giftcard

Anderson Community Schools recently issued the following announcement.

School districts across the country are encouraged to use emergency COVID-19 relief money to create incentives to boost the number of vaccinated students. As a result, Anderson Community Schools (ACS) is providing students ages 12 and older that are fully vaccinated a $50 VISA e-gift card.

In order to receive their e-gift card, fully vaccinated students must complete an online claim form found here. To complete the form, students must log into their ACS email account. As part of the form, students will be required to upload a photo of each side of their COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card.

Once the form has been reviewed, and the COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card verified, students will be sent an email with instructions for how to access their $50 VISA e-gift card.

It is required that students under the age of 18 have parent or guardian consent prior to getting the COVID-19 vaccine. While Anderson Community Schools strongly encourages students ages 12 years of age and older to get the COVID-19 vaccine, it remains optional.
